HISTORY

With over 120 years of exceeding customer expectations, Scherer Metals has become a valued Colorado tradition. From our start in 1896 as a small tin shop to our current focus on architectural metal fabrication, our work graces hundreds of buildings and residences in and around Denver.

Quality craftsmenship is the trademark of Scherer Metals, as is seen in the 1970 replication of the original Larimer Street light fixtures and more recently in the construction of building entrance facades, canopies, elevators, sculptural metal installations and so much more throughout the community.

Our portfolio includes Colorado landmarks like the waving ribbons and information desk at Tabor Center; brass handrails at the state capitol; stainless steel rails and pans at Columbine Memorial and much more.
